Meaning
A grey elephant in profile with a long trunk, big ears and sometimes small tusks. It represents the large animal of Africa and Asia, known for close family herds and the saying that an elephant never forgets.
People use it for the elephant in the room, a great memory, wildlife trips and anything big or heavy, sometimes doubled as 🐘🐘 for a herd. Example: “Let us talk about the elephant in the room: who forgot to book the hotel 🐘”.
