Meaning
A small pot of melted cheese or chocolate, often set over a little flame, with long forks dipping in pieces of bread or fruit. Fondue is a Swiss dish shared around the table.
Use it for cosy winter evenings, date nights and ski-trip dinners: “Cheese 🫕 night at ours, bring bread and wine”. It also works for chocolate fondue with strawberries at birthdays. The shared pot makes it a sociable emoji, close in spirit to hotpot.
