Meaning
A colourful piñata, often shaped like a donkey or a star and decorated with paper fringes, filled with sweets to be broken open with a stick.
It is linked to Mexican celebrations and has spread to birthday parties around the world: “Kids took twenty swings at the 🪅 before it cracked!” It stands for party fun, surprises and treats, and sometimes jokingly for being hit with a lot of criticism.
