Meaning
The international symbol of access, a stylized figure in a wheelchair, usually white on blue. It marks accessible entrances, toilets, parking and seating.
It is used to point out accessibility features and to talk about disability rights and inclusion: “The venue has ramps and an ♿ restroom on every floor.” It is a sign, not a joke, and using it to mock someone is hurtful.
