Meaning
A person with one arm raised high, like a student eager to answer, usually shown with a cheerful face. It means “me!”, “here!” or “I have a question,” and it volunteers, greets or claims a turn.
Use it to sign up, answer a group poll or ask something politely: “Count me in for Saturday’s volleyball 🙋” It also works as a friendly hello when joining a chat. Gender and skin-tone versions exist, so you can choose one that represents you. In a formal meeting chat, writing the actual question is clearer than raising a virtual hand alone.
