FAQ

Quick answers about fancy text, copying, accents, accessibility and privacy.

What is this tool?

It is a free generator that rewrites your text in more than 100 decorative Unicode styles, such as bold, cursive, bubble and upside down. Type once, then copy the style you like and paste it wherever you need it.

Is fancy text a font?

No. A font only changes how letters are drawn on your screen, so the look disappears when you paste somewhere else. This tool swaps your letters for different Unicode characters, so the style travels with the text.

Is it free?

Yes. Every style and tool is free to use without an account; the ads on these pages help cover the costs.

Where can I paste it?

In most places that accept plain text: social bios and posts, comments, chat apps and documents. Some sites limit special characters in usernames, so check how it looks after pasting.

Why do I see empty boxes or question marks?

The device showing the text has no font that contains that character, so it displays a placeholder. Rare styles such as cuneiform or Bamum are the most likely to do this, while bold and italic are widely supported.

Does it work with accents and Vietnamese?

Letter styles keep accents, so “Tiếng Việt” in bold becomes 𝐓𝐢𝐞̂́𝐧𝐠 𝐕𝐢𝐞̣̂𝐭. Shape styles such as bubble and vaporwave drop the marks, and “đ” has no styled version, so it stays as typed.

Is fancy text accessible?

Not fully. Screen readers may read styled characters letter by letter or skip them, so use them for short highlights and keep important information in plain text.

How do I turn fancy text back into normal text?

Paste it into the unstyle tool. It converts styled letters back to plain ones and strips strike-through and underline marks.

What is the copy history?

Every time you copy, the text joins a list of your last 30 copies, stored only in your browser. Open it from the header to copy something again or clear the list.

How do I add line breaks to an Instagram bio?

Instagram may remove empty lines and extra spaces when you save. The line break generator fills empty lines with a blank-looking character, which gives your spacing a better chance of staying put.

Can I copy several symbols at once?

Yes. On the symbols page, every symbol you tap also lands in a tray. Build your string there, then press Copy all.

Do you store what I type?

No. All styling happens in your browser, and your text is never sent to our server. Anything kept between visits, like your copy history, stays on your own device.
