Meaning
A long white cane, the probing cane used by blind and low-vision people to sense the path ahead. It stands for blindness, visual impairment and accessibility.
It is used respectfully in posts about accessibility, disability awareness, guide services and inclusive design: “Our café now has braille menus and clear paths for 🦯 users.” It is not a joke emoji, and using it to mock someone for not noticing things can be hurtful.
