Meaning
A single plain egg in its shell, usually white or light beige and shown whole. It stands for eggs as an ingredient and protein-rich food and, by extension, beginnings and new life.
Use it for grocery lists, baking plans, breakfast talk and Easter crafts: “Out of 🥚 again, can you grab a dozen on your way home?” It also turns up in jokes about walking on eggshells. For a fried egg in a pan, 🍳 is the better pick.
