Meaning
A star with eight points, often on an orange square, somewhere between a sparkle and a little sun. Its literal meaning is simply an eight-pointed star.
It is popular as an eye-catching bullet in announcements, price lists and travel itineraries: “✴️ Day 1: Old Quarter ✴️ Day 2: Ha Long Bay” It draws more attention than ✳️ and feels warmer. Some also use it for a starburst or highlight effect around a word.
