Meaning
A red face with a deep scowl, furrowed brows and a downturned mouth, practically steaming. It is a strong, unmistakable sign of anger: fury, outrage or being completely fed up.
Among friends it is often theatrical: “You ate my leftover noodles?! 😡” In that playful register the anger is clearly exaggerated. In real disputes, especially with customers, coworkers or family, it escalates tension fast and can seem aggressive, so it is wiser to explain what upset you in words.
