Meaning
Two right-pointing triangles side by side, the fast-forward control on a video or music player. It means moving quickly ahead, skipping the slow part to get to what comes next.
People use it for time skips in stories, wishing a boring week away or rushing to the good part: “Can we ⏩ to Friday already?” It also marks quick summaries and highlights. It pairs with ⏰ when you are running late, and its opposite is ⏪.
