Horizontal traffic light

Unicode U+1F6A5 · Emoji 0.6

U+1F6A5

Meaning

A traffic light turned on its side, with red, amber and green lights in a row. Horizontal signals like this are common in Japan and some other countries.

Use it for traffic, driving lessons, waiting and simple status signals: “Stuck at every 🚥 on the way here”. The three colours also work as a quick red-amber-green status for projects. 🚦 is the upright version most people know.
