Japanese post office

Unicode U+1F3E3 · Emoji 0.6

U+1F3E3

Meaning

A building usually marked with the Japanese postal symbol 〒, a T shape with an extra bar on top, often on a red or orange sign. It stands for post offices in Japan.

Use it for sending parcels, Japan travel and life in Japan: “Sent your souvenirs from the 🏣 today, tracking number soon”. The 〒 mark also appears in front of Japanese postcodes. Outside Japan, people still pick it for postal topics now and then.
