A metal prosthetic leg with a mechanical knee and foot. Literally it is an artificial leg.
It is used to talk about prosthetics, amputee athletes, rehabilitation and accessibility, and to celebrate progress in recovery. Some use it jokingly for robotic dance moves or feeling unstoppable. Pair with 🦾 or 🏃. Example: “First 5K since my surgery, done 🦿”.
