Meaning
Two open hands raised high in the air, palms forward, sometimes with little lines showing movement. It is a gesture of celebration and relief: “hooray,” “finally,” or praise for something that went right.
It suits long-awaited good news and shared wins: “The landlord finally fixed the air conditioner 🙌” Some people also use it in a spiritual sense, as raised hands in praise. It is easy to mix up with 🙏 or a high five, but its clear meaning is joy with both arms up, so it rarely causes offense.
