Meaning
A full-body rat in profile, larger than the mouse, with a long bare tail and darker fur. It means the city and sewer rodent and, in the zodiac, the Year of the Rat.
In English slang a rat is a snitch or traitor, so 🐀 can call out someone who told on the group; it also appears in pest complaints and city life. Example: “Somebody told the teacher about the party, there is a 🐀 among us”.
