Meaning
A round orange citrus fruit with a small green leaf on top. Officially a tangerine, it is also the usual stand-in for oranges, mandarins and anything orange-flavoured.
It suits fresh juice, vitamin boosts, winter citrus season and Lunar New Year, when citrus fruit is linked with prosperity in several Asian cultures. Example: “Freshly squeezed orange juice to start the weekend 🍊”.
