Meaning
An abacus: a wooden frame with rows of beads on rods that you slide back and forth to count and calculate. It means arithmetic, counting money or old-fashioned calculation.
It fits math homework, budgeting and accountants closing the books at month end, often with a wink about doing sums by hand: “Splitting the trip bill now 🧮 give me a minute.” In parts of Asia it also recalls mental math classes for kids.
