Meaning
A raised hand with the palm facing forward and fingers together, the universal gesture for stop or attention.
It is used to say stop, wait, or “me!” when volunteering, and also for high fives. In class-style chats it can mean you have a question. It differs from 🖐️ by keeping the fingers close together. Comes in several skin tones. Example: “Me, I can help you move on Saturday ✋”.
